Myriam Zumbühl is the founder of HARVEST PRODUCTIONS. She graduated from Economy College, then travelled the globe as a freelance trendscout where she discovered the many wonderful sides of art, cuisine and culture.
She started her radio-career at the age of 15 at Swiss National Radio SRF3, then worked as a Radio-DJ until she knew all of Madonnas songs by heart. She then moved on to work as an arts & culture journalist for Swiss National Radio SRF1. A job that gave her the opportunity to combine her infinite inner fire and interest in people, cultures, literature and art. It didn’t take her long to fall in love with radio drama and documentary, where she learnt the art of storytelling. She deepened her knowledge in scriptwriting classes for film with screenwriter Urs O. Bühler.
Always dreaming of writing cookbooks, she published her first book „Kochen mit Myriam“ in her twenties, that was followed by her latest baking book „Myriams Kuchen Tartes & Co“. Her love for baking made her pack her bags and move to New York City to learn everything about the art of baking bread and creating pastries at the French Culinary Institute. She then moved on to Swiss National TV SRF where she developed and hosted her own TV-Show „Myriam und die Meisterbäcker“
She finds joy in developing exciting media productions and bringing interesting people and strong stories together for films, books or written stories.
A gardener at heart, her latest vision is the re-vitalization of an old botanical garden into a Centre for Resilience & Social Change - a place for a conversation to foster social change.
She is based in Zürich, lived, loved and worked in Amsterdam and London and can hail a taxi like a real New Yorker.
